What I can offer as a Mentor
I have particular expertise in aligning teaching practice with national criteria (e.g. AAUT, Advance HE), helping mentees articulate a clear teaching philosophy, demonstrate impact using meaningful evidence, and translate their work into competitive award and promotion applications. I support the development of innovative, student-centred learning and assessment strategies, including simulation, authentic assessment, and inclusive curriculum design. I also provide guidance on building a coherent academic narrative, strengthening research–teaching integration, and scaling educational initiatives for broader impact. My mentoring style is practical, strategic, and outcomes-focused, with an emphasis on clarity, confidence, and measurable impact. I am happy to liaise via Zoom or email.
