What I can offer as a Mentor
My teaching background is in large-sized, online, first-year and Honours year teaching in psychology. I am currently the Associate Head of School (Teaching & Learning) in the School of Psychology at Deakin University. I have a PhD in Psychology and a second PhD in Education. As a mentor, I would be happy to share my experiences of being a female academic and the challenges of navigating changing roles and identities, providing a sounding board, giving advice about what to include in an application and guidance on structuring a narrative around the mentee’s teaching experience.
