What I can offer as a Mentor
I am an Associate Professor in European archaeology in the School of archaeology and anthropology. My strengths are in developing engaged discussion-/workshop-based courses, and small-group teaching is a particular passion of mine. I love to experiment with assessments and work to promote reflexive practice and creative engagement with classroom material. I have worked hard to translate the best of my own experiences as a student in the US, Europe and UK to the Australian university context. I would probably be most helpful to people teaching in the humanities and social sciences and looking to diversify their teaching practice, experiment with assessments and think about their courses in a larger context.
