John is Professor of Actuarial Studies and Business Analytics at the Macquarie Business School, Macquarie University, where he teaches quantitative methods. He is also a visiting professor at the Divine Word University in PNG and regularly lectures in Hong Kong. Professor Croucher is an active researcher and a prolific author. He was awarded the prestigious Distinguished Alumni Award from Macquarie University for his work in scientific methods and was made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in 2015.
