CURRENT ROLE
Professor Arvanitakis is the Pro Vice Chancellor (Engagement and Advancement) at Western Sydney University (Western) having just returned from a 12-month Fulbright Fellowship at the Milward L. Simpson Visiting Chair (University of Wyoming). In his current role as the Pro Vice Chancellor, he works to build sustained mutually beneficial relationships with partners, promote university education amongst different communities and the University’s researchers, and oversees The Academy, Western’s award winning academic program. James is passionate about bringing together research and teaching and promote academic scholarship.
